Tasters

 

Tasters take place on normal Club shooting nights and are designed as an introduction to Archery

 

We are limited to how many people we can accomodate in a session so please call a Committee member in advance to avoid disappointment.  All necessary equipment is provide by the Club

 

Taster 1 - Free

 

Taster 1 consists of guided session which will cover:

- all range safety

- the basics of how to hold a bow and shoot it safely

- how to safely collect arrows

 

Coaching will be using a Barebow only (no sights or balances)

 

The taster will typically shoot 12 arrows

If the archer wishes to have a second taster then they can opt to do Taster 2

 

Taster 2 - £5

 

Taster 2 consists of a one hour guided session which will cover:

- all range safety

- the basics of how to hold a bow and shoot it safely

- how to safely collect arrows

 

Coaching will be using a Barebow only (no sights or balances)
